showrev(1M) missing on Solaris 10

I left a desktop to download some humongous logs last night using scp and of course the connection was lost in the middle.
I'm just starting to deal with Solaris 10 machines and I ran into a really annoying issue. When trying to change the IP address by modifying the appropriate files (or so I thought) the ip address kept getting reset on reboot.
This is a life saver. Although I hate to admit it, Microsoft Excel is the one of the IT Professional's Swiss Army Knives.
